white desert bridal shoot

Bohemian style is a huge trend for engagements and weddings. But how often do you see such an elegantly styled boho goddess bridal shower?? Although this is a styled shoot, Caroline is an actual bride-to-be. So it was quite fitting that she modeled. Paige and Dina were her supportive bridesmaids. The inspiration for this shoot was to combine southwestern and florida style. We went big (literally, think huge banana palm leaves)!

all the details

Taylor Falcon was our planner and orchestrated all of the details. Our little venue in South Tampa was already lovely but it she truly made it magical. Forty Two Ten is named for its literal address (how fun is that?!). The inside is flooded with light from huge glass doors that slide open. Step through onto a perfectly charming outdoor patio complete with cafe lights.

Caroline’s ring is naturally the same one pictured in the flat-lay. And can we just drool a little over Doyle Paper Co‘s stunning invitations!

Destiny and Light gave our girls some glam free-spirited looks. From sweeping braids to fishtails to glorious crowns, they looked stunning. Then Flourish Tampa brought the huge tasseled balloons. A funny moment was during one point they threatened to blow away on us entirely!

The Reserve Rentals brought in the huge farmhouse table (look at that beauty!). We practically covered it in palms and desert flowers and succulents, all of which Marigold Flower Co helped to arrange for the spread. The Reserve also brought some of my favorite elements of the day. The furniture included a couch laden with bohemian luxurious fur blankets and pillows and gorgeous leather chairs, all atop a fantastic black and white rug.

So the girls enjoyed lounging in these for a snack from Saltblock Catering‘s fabulous chefs and a much needed wine break.

are you a bride-to-be?

I would tell future brides to just be yourself! Let that personality come out in your choices of invites and food and decor. Individualistic and eclectic styles are so popular right now! So it is a great time to try something a little more out there. Let you wedding day be as free spirited as your heart!
