laura and tim’s love story is straight out of a feel good summer movie. tim, a native of ontario, canada, was going into his second summer as a counselor at a small camp in maryland. laura was brand new that summer. when these two met, it was love at first sight. they had picked their wedding date before the summer was out.
on april 1st, they were married in laura’s childhood church. family and camp friends came from all over the east coast and canada to their pennsylvania wedding to celebrate with the couple, and their camp coordinator was the officiant. and tim’s camp roommates played the processional and special music. laura and her sisters handcrafted the save the dates, invitations, and elaborate spiral paper bouquets and boutonnieres. they used natural and thrifted elements to decorate the church and reception. all in all, laura’s advice for future brides was simple and sweet: “don’t forget to kiss him on the cheek, just because he makes you happy.” congratulations tim and laura!
